Madagascar wildlife tour in Andasibe

Andasibe is the nearest national park from Antanarivo. A popular tourist destination in Madagascar, renowned for its lush rainforests and unique wildlife. The primary attraction in this region is the Andasibe-Analamazaotra National Park, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including the iconic Indri lemurs. Doing a night walk that allows you to spot the smallest nocturnal lemur and other species, chameleons, frogs… And having some walk at Vakona reserve, and a visit at Madagascar exotic park is worth to do.

Meet at your hotel, then pick up and drive straight to Andasibe. After a 3-hour drive, stop at the Madagascar Exotic Park to see different species of chameleons, frogs, and geckos. Then continuation of the drive. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Late in the afternoon, go on an evening walk, accompanied by a local guide, to see nocturnal lemurs like the mouse lemur and other species, chameleons, frogs, and nocturnal birds. Drive back to the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.


After breakfast, drive to the entrance of the park. Meet the local guide and start the hike at Analamazaotra National Park to spot the largest living lemur in Madagascar, called Indri Indri, and other species like the golden sifaka, the brown lemur, and other wild animals, birds, etc. Then go back to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, go to Vakona Reserve to visit its lemur island and crocodile farm to see more species of lemurs and other reptiles, aquatic birds, amphibians, etc. After the visit, continue to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.


After breakfast, drive back to Antananarivo (5 hours). Upon arrival in the capital, transfer to your hotel. Possibility to visit the souvenir’s market on the road to the airport or at Lisy Art Gallery.
